Informa were happy to once again support history by offering our digitisation services for the Garda Historical Society’s memorabilia event, held at Dublin Castle on Saturday, April 2nd.

This special event commemorated the centenary of the 1925 Amalgamation of the Pólíní Átha Cliath (Dublin Metropolitan Police) and An Garda Síochána.

During the event, members of the public generously contributed various historical items, which Informa digitised. These digitised materials will serve as valuable resources for both the Garda Historical Society and historians, providing insights into the rich history of policing in Dublin.

We are always honoured to play a role in preserving and sharing this important heritage.
