Medical Council of Ireland
“We process questionnaires and surveys annually as part of our regulatory requirements and Informa have worked with us closely over the years providing form designs, capture services and analytical reports that require a lot of thought and understanding”
The Medical Council of Ireland regulates all doctors to practice medicine in the Republic of Ireland. As part of their remit to maintain the Register of Medical Practitioners, the Medical Council of Ireland, conduct an annual survey of all doctors in the Republic of Ireland. The Medical Council outsourced this service to Informa and we managed the process from start to finish.
Here is a list of what we did as part of the project:
- Generation of the Survey form, based on the Data Requirements of the Medical Council
- Printing and Posting of 15,000 + letters
- Set up & management of a PO Box for all completed forms
- Opening and Scanning of all returned forms
- Retrieval of all data, approx. 100 fields from each of the forms returned
- Compilation and export of this data into the Medical Council’s database
- Analysis of the raw data to highlight emerging trends and behaviour, presented in an easy to understand and useable format.
The key objectives for the Medical Council in outsourcing this project was to save on the manual input required by the Medical Council staff. In addition, presenting this information in an easily interpreted and graphical format was another major factor in the ongoing outsourcing of this and other form based projects
